We do allow people to come visit and meet our puppies but protecting our
puppies is our main concern - so we do take special precautions.
Because our puppies are raised in our home - we do not allow "Stop In"
visitors. All visits must be scheduled in advance. We can set something up
for you around your schedule Mondays through Saturdays.
The first step would then be to complete our online puppy application so that
we can work together to determine which litter or puppy might be a good fit
for what you are looking for. If we do have something that will interest you
and it will be a good match for your family we can talk about setting up an
appointment. If we do not have anything that will work for you we might be
able to make a good recommendation for another reputable breeder who
does.
Appointments are then made first for those people who have already placed
a deposit on the litter and these will be scheduled in the order that the
deposits arrived.
We begin making appointments when the puppies are six weeks of age. This
has a two fold purpose. The first being safety for our puppies. We wait until
their little immune systems have had a chance to begin developing, because
people can unknowingly bring viruses and bacteria into our home on their
shoes. We will ask you to remove your shoes prior to entering our home in
order to help protect our puppies. We also wait until they are this age so that
we can tell you more about their overall size, coat type and personality. We
want to make sure you make a wise choice instead of an emotional one! And
you need this additional information instead of just choosing due to color or
only by their appearance.
If you do not have a deposit down on a litter of puppies and you wish to
come visit - you will be able to do this as soon as everyone who has a
deposit down already has made their selection. We do on occasion have
puppies that are ready to go to their new homes now. These puppies would
be able to be visited without waiting as those with deposits would have
already made their selections.
