"Hi Beth, Well, it's been about 10 months since we picked up Emma. It's hard to
believe she is almost one year old. I just wanted to share this picture with you
and to tell you how glad we are that we found you on the internet. Emma is
such a little smarty, I can't believe it sometimes. She has the best personality
and was so easy to train. Our bloodhound acts 5 years younger since we
brought her home. We discovered last week how much she loves to swim. She
is just a sweetheart! We love her to pieces. I hope you and your family are all
doing well, Take Care, SF
We have been extremely happy with Murphy (aka Tacoda). At 9 mos. old now
his character is starting to come out. He is well behaved and well socialized
and just loves everybody and everything. He is a very quick learner and is
doing well in his obedience classes and has even learned a lot of tricks. Most
of them we can teach him in under an hour. He has already mastered shake,
hi-five, wave, bow, roll-over, play dead, and fetch. It was alot of fun watching
him experience his first snowfall. He absolutely loves it and we practically have
to drag him inside. We love to watch him leap and bound through the elbow
deep snow while digging for sticks or whatever he is looking for in the snow.

Hi beth, Just wanted to let you know that Marco, now Fritz, is doing great. He
is getting bigger and cuter every day. He seems to be fitting right in. Loves to
play and had a great time outside in our first snow of the season today. He is
doing great with potty/crate training. We just love him. Will send pictures
soon. Take care. K.L.
Greetings Jessica, Beth and family,
I thought that I would take a minute to give you an update on "Boomer" AKA
"Zane."
Zane is JUST GREAT, SUPER, WONERFUL, HEALTHY, FUN.... a great
addition to our family! He is now 6 months old and weighs about 30 lbs. We
have used the free feed method of feeding and he eats a lot some days and
not much other days. His coat is beautiful, wavy to loose curl and has not
shed at all.
His personality is just what we had hoped for, and just what you said it would
be. He is a SMART dog, solid retriever (his passion), and very loyal
companion. He is also a good little watch dog, but SO friendly with other
people and other dogs. He LOVES to swim and swam a great deal at the end
of the summer. He "springs" right into the water---like tigger would! He has
never strayed from our 10 acre spot here and comes immediately when called!
He is best friends with our big Chesapeake Bay Retriever and they have been
so much fun to watch! Even with the large size difference (7 lbs vs. 75 libs!!)
at first, they play in a safe and controlled manner (My Chessie really gets the
credit for this one as she is the one who keeps in control! They have figured
out how to eat, play and sleep together! My Chessie immediately took on a
parenting role and grooms him, keeps him safe, and loves him!
One surprising note is that Zane has been nearly completely house trained
from day one! He literally has had 2 accidents in all this time. So easy! I know
someone with an 9 month old mini poodle who is not the least bit house
broken! We take him everywhere and EVERYONE loves him. Many strangers
have commented that he is a "well put together dog" or a "solidly bred dog"
when they meet him. They can see the Springer in him, but often do not
guess the poodle part. They love his personality, his bounciness, yet his
calmness at the same time (he is very well behaved, but can play hard and
keep up with our crazy family!) You can find him at soccer games, running
here and there at cross county meets, hiking, in the car for school runs etc!
He is very good company! He has a wonderful snuggly side, which everyone
enjoys to relax!
He now has run of the house, as he has proved to be trustworthy. He still
loves his kennel, especially now that it is chillier in the house. We took the
door off so it does not get in our way. His kennel is the one thing that he is
unwilling to share with Marcy! (Marcy does not fit in there anyway!)
I am so glad that you matched our need/family to your litter's personality.
Zane has found a great niche here and we are most pleased!! THANK YOU!!
My sister (Kathleen from Boston) is ready for one of your springer doodles as
well (her family just loved ours this summer). The litter is up on your website
and is SOOO cute! What fun!!
Thanks again for a quality pup! I would send a picture, but I am not that good
with computers. Trust me, he is CUTE!
If you ever have a prospective puppy owner who wants to hear what a great
dog we have, feel free to use us! We are sold on this breed combination and
your family as breeders. MaryBeth & family
Hi Lakeshore Kennel Family,
Just a note to update you on Spencer (aka, Scully). He is the love of our
household. Very smart, easy to train (does all kinds of tricks), and loves
everybody. He is not shedding and is so cute that golfers drive up to our
house in their carts to ask about him (we live on the 9th fairway). After
reading the horrible stories about all of the puppy mills around, it is so
comforting to know and deal with such a responsible and reputable breeder
such as yourselves. Thanks you so much for your honesty and integrity!
Spencer says hello!
thought you would like to see a photo of Lucy at 1 year old and another one of
her with the kids. We love her very much. We hope all is well with you and
your family, and hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Nancy
